Distracted Driving in Colorado: We’re One Step Closer to Safer Roads — We would like to see Colorado join the 16 others that prohibit all drivers from using hand-held electronics while driving. On February 14, the Committee voted on this revised bill (no testimony was taken) and passed it on to the full Senate!

This matters. Distracted driving continues to be a major cause of serious crashes, especially for motorcyclists and pedestrians who have little protection when a driver looks down instead of ahead. When distraction leads to a collision, having access to injury help after a crash can make a real difference during recovery.
