Bookmark our website, because there is always something fun going on at Rider Justice!

“Injured riders are usually surrounded by a large community of people who love them. It’s no secret that the biker community is one of the most generous and loving communities in the world. So, when a biker goes down, everyone wants to help! I frequently receive calls from the wives, girlfriends, children or husbands of bikers. Their pain is palatable. Their beloved biker is usually in the hospital, undergoing surgery or other traumatic procedures, and these people call because they are trying to figure out the next steps. I often meet them in hospital cafeterias, in their homes, or at the accident scene. First, they need to tell their story. Next, they need to understand the path ahead. Once I explain how I can help, you can practically see a burden lift off their shoulders. It is an honor to help bikers and their families after a Fort Collins motorcycle crash.”

Why You Should Receive a Free Legal Consultation
If you’ve been in a Fort Collins motorcycle crash, you are likely wondering some of the following questions:
- “Who can help me after my motorcycle crash?”
- “How can I pay all these medical bills?
- “Who will help me fix my bike after a Fort Collins motorcycle crash?”
The answer to all of these questions is: Scott O’Sullivan. He has been helping injured bikers for over 25 years. This is not Scott’s job; it is his calling.
The answer will probably surprise you, because personal injury attorneys do not work the same way other attorneys do.
Other attorneys charge hourly rates that can add up very quickly. Personal injury attorneys charge absolutely nothing until and unless they win. (If you have found an attorney to help with your Fort Collins motorcycle crash and he/she wants a retainer fee, or is charging you for anything at all, run the other direction. That attorney is not reputable.)
Instead, personal injury attorneys take a percentage of your final settlement, meaning the more they get for you, the more they will earn. It’s a fantastic motivation for your personal injury attorney to do a good job on your behalf. (Not all personal injury attorneys are motivated to do a good job, though. Be discerning in who you pick.)
This payment structure also means that any costs to fight your case (accident scene analysis, etc.) comes out of your attorney’s pocket, not yours. Truly, you should pay absolutely nothing when you hire a Fort Collins personal injury attorney.
If you or a loved one were hurt in a motorcycle crash in Fort Collins, call Scott today. There is no charge to talk about your case, and we’re really good listeners.
“Honestly, the most help that I got has been from Scott. Him getting us our settlement fast enough. Everything went smoothly. I just put my trust in him and I feel like he made the best decisions for me.”

Favorite Fort Collins Motorcycle Rides and Destinations
Fort Collins is an iconic Colorado town. Fondly known as “FoCo” by the locals, the downtown area offers great food, fun shopping, secret alley boutiques, and lots of people-watching. (The hometown university is Colorado State University, the Rams, so students are everywhere.) But if Old Town FoCo aint your thang, and you gotta get out on those two wheels, you have a lot of options!
- Poudre Canyon and Cameron Pass: Take Colorado 14 out of town and climb twisty roads through Poudre Canyon, crossing Cameron Pass along the way. From there, you can descend into North Park through Colorado National Forest. Wanna keep going? Connect with US 40 at Muddy Gap Pass and head to Steamboat Springs. Be careful on Rabbit Ears Pass, which can be deceptively dangerous when bad weather suddenly hits.
- Big Thompson Canyon: Head south to Loveland and then due east on US 34 through Big Thompson Canyon, site of a devastating historic flood in 1976. Take in the stunning rock walls and pumping waters of the Big Thompson River, and keep going east to Estes Park. Want an extra-special add-on to your ride? Continue into Rocky Mountain National Park and ride all the way up Trail Ridge Road. We dare you not to get vertigo at the highest spot, 12,183 feet!
- Horsetooth Reservoir: Just outside town, Horsetooth Reservoir is Colorado’s third-most-popular reservoir. Motorcycles must share the road with bicyclists and cars, but it’s worth it. Lots of sweeping curves, stunning vistas and available picnic sites make this a fun, easy ride if you don’t have all day for your adventure.
Best Biker Bars in Fort Collins
- The Canyon Grill: This reliable biker bar sells itself as “A place where the bikers come to eat, the locals come to drink, and the place where everyone comes to be merry.” The Canyon Grill is located on the southern end of Horsetooth Reservoir at 4791 W. County Road 38. Swing by to enjoy a gorgeous patio, a cold brew, and good grub.
- New Belgium Brewing Company: This is a beloved Colorado brewery with a sprawling outdoor scene and amazing homegrown brews. Ride up to 500 Linden Street, park it, and grab a cold one. With a rotating crop of yummy food trucks, live music on the regular, and of course, great beer, you can’t go wrong at New Belgium.
- The Boot Grill: Head out of town just a bit to Loveland and visit The Boot Grill for a biker’s paradise. Prime rib all day, every day. Two patios, including great mountain views and a fire pit. Live music and new bands from Nashville nearly every night. This bar has it all. Phone your friends and arrange a ride to the Boot, located at 4164 Clydesdale Parkway in Loveland.
- Mishawaka Amphitheater: Along picturesque highway 14 in the Poudre Canyon sets “The Mish” restaurant and amphitheater where you can pull over for a riverside seat to enjoy a meal and enjoy a show. Featuring Fort Collins craft beer by Odell Brewing, The Mish is a favorite spot for locals and mountain adventurists alike.
Worst Roads for Motorcycles in Fort Collins
Remember all those CSU students we mentioned above? They are everywhere in Fort Collins! Behind the wheel, on bikes, and walking around, they seem to be oblivious to other people sharing the road and the town with them.
This can make for some tricky motorcycle rides. Be sure to ride like nobody can see you (because they are likely looking at their phones!). Here are some specific intersections you might want to avoid. We got our stats from recent Fort Collins Annual Roadway Safety Report:
- College Ave and Horsetooth Road: This intersection can be harrowing, seeing high volumes of cars and pedestrians. In past years, there have been up to 54 crashes annually at this intersection alone. As always, never take a lefthand turn across an intersection unless absolutely no one is coming from the other direction.
- College Ave and Trilby Road: College Avenue is one of the main thoroughfares into and from the CSU campus, so there is always a lot of traffic. This intersection can see up to 34,218 cars a day and 30 accidents each year. Make sure to watch out for blind entrances and exits off College Avenue.
- Mason Street and Harmony Road: This is a tricky little intersection just east of the busy College Ave/Harmony intersection. Mason hosts several popular spots, such as Target, a park-n-ride, a McDonald’s and much more, so people are always jockeying for hard lefthand turns and other shenanigans. Stay alert, motorcycle friends!
